Do Women use Sweatcoin More or Less than Men?

No, women don’t use Sweatcoin more than men. They use it significantly less.

35.3% of Sweatcoin users are women. The remaining 64.7% of Sweatcoin users are male. (Source)

This data contradicts user behavior data from other fitness apps and Sweatcoin’s direct competitors. Most users of most Sweatcoin’s competitors are female, with men often lagging behind by a quite a large margin.

For example, 60% of MyFitnessPal’s users are women, and 40% are men. That’s 20% (50% of total men users) higher women usage than that by men. And the numbers are quite similar to MyFitnessPal and in opposition to Sweatcoin with a number of other fitness apps, both free and paid.

The only notable exception and a large brand is Strava. Namely, 40% of Strava users are female, whereas 60% are male.

It makes sense that most Sweatcoin’s users are from the age groups capable of consistent and vigorous walking and running. You only earn Sweatcoins when you move your body and people in their prime are able to move their bodies the most.

This data is consistent with data from other health and fitness apps regarding user age demographics. For example, a whopping 93% of Apple Fitness users are aged 18-64.
