Augusta Precious Metals don’t offer free silver to its gold IRA customers because it’s not profitable for them to do so. But the thing is, it’s not profitable for other gold IRA firms as well.
This means that when “X” company offers you free silver, the real price of that silver is baked into the larger margins and higher prices you’ll be paying when you buy precious metals from said company.
So the company recuperates the cost of that “free silver” and probably makes additional profit as well.
Simply put- there’s no free lunch when investing in precious metals.
