Whether you are a student, researcher, marketer, or business professional, summarizing lengthy text can be a routine task for you. Gladly, there are now several summarization tools available on the internet that can automate this process. The two leading options are QuillBot and AI Summarizer.
Both are top-ranked in Google Search results and are widely known and used by the worldwide audience. Both utilize advanced Artificial Intelligence algorithms to quickly and accurately concise summaries of the input text.
But the question is – which is the best one? To provide a suitable answer, I am going to compare QuillBot and AI Summarizer in this blog post. So, let’s get down to the business!
Table of Contents
QuillBot – Overview
QuillBot is a writing assistant that is known for its excellent paraphrasing capabilities. But it also has multiple other tools as well, including a text summarizer. It is a freemium (both free and paid) tool that uses AI and LLM models to quickly and accurately craft concise summaries of lengthy text.
AI Summarizer – Overview
When it comes to summarizing, AI Summarizer stands out as a “Brand” in search results as well as in the audience choice. It is a specialized tool that uses NLP and Deep Learning algorithms to quickly extract key points from a given text, and craft a summary using them. The tool is available in both free and paid versions.
Testing Summarization Capabilities of QuillBot & AI Summarizer
To determine which is the best one, I am going to test the summarization capabilities of these tools by providing different inputs.
Test #1
I am going to provide a 1,400-word blog post to both tools to determine which one crafts a better summary. But wait…Quillbot only allows you to summarize 600 words at once and 12,00 words if you sign up as a free user.
Since I am using it without signup, I have to restrict the content within this limit. So, my input for the tools will be 500 words.
For results, take a look at the screenshots attached below.
QuillBot Output:
AI Summarizer Output:
Winner: There is no winner here, as both tools have crafted a good blog summary of almost the same length; (QuillBot 136 words) and (AI Summarizer 139 words). And the quality is also somewhat similar when we see the clarity and readability.
Test #2
Now, I will be providing a poem to these tools to make sure what results they would generate.
QuillBot Output:
AI Summarizer Output:
Winner: This test also ends on a draw with Summarizer.org at a little upper hand. This is because both tools perfectly condensed input poems to provide a brief overview. But we see a little redundancy in QuillBot’s output while it tries to keep micro details in the generated summary. While AI Summarizer gave a good precise overview.
Test #3
Finally, I am heading toward my last test with the hope of finding a winner. I will be summarizing a lengthy meta description with QuillBot and AI Summarizer. Here are the results:
QuillBot Output:
AI Summarizer Output:
Winner: Here, AI Summarizer has taken the lead over QuillBot. It only condensed the description within the recommended length (160 characters) but also changed words like “Discover,” to “Unlock” for improved quality.
