My honest recommendation: Augusta Precious Metals is the best gold IRA company on this list. Past customers rave about them in online reviews. The buying process is seamless. Their markup is the lowest among all other gold IRA companies on this list. Augusta supports you all the way and you get lifetime support even if you purchase just once and a minimum amount.
I wholeheartedly recommend Augusta Precious Metals if you can afford the $ 50,000 minimum investment requirement.
Yes, other silver IRA companies allow you to invest significantly less money, but you don’t get the lifetime perks Augusta gives to each of their customers.

- No lifetime support (unlike Augusta Precios Metals in the number #1 spot).
My honest recommendation: American Hartford Gold are an excellent gold IRA company. I recommend them to those savers and investors who can’t afford the steep $50,000 minimum investment required from Augusta Precious Metals.
AHG offer excellent customer support. Their staff are friendly and will educate you on everything you need to know to invest in gold and silver.

My honest recommendation: Birch Gold Group are endorsed by well-known figures like Ben Shapiro, Stephen K. Bannon, Dan Bongino, Ron Paul and many others.
They’re also recognized as a top-rated precious metals company by Better Business Bureau, ConsumerAffairs, BCA, Trustpilot…
Birch Gold Group can help you if you’re looking to purchase precious metals for direct delivery or to open a gold IRA account. They’re also the first IRA company in this guide to offer palladium and platinum products as the previous two IRA companies don’t.
Birch Gold Group is a California-based brokerage firm that specializes in gold and other precious metals.
They’ve been active since 2003 helping Americans from all 50 states diversify their savings with precious metals IRAS as part of their portfolios.
Birch Gold Group sells precious metals both as part of IRAs and for personal possession. They’re also a rare gold IRA company that offers palladium and platinum products.

[/wps_note]Noble Gold is a reputable gold IRA company. They’ve been servicing the US market for just over 8 years, but the web is full of legitimate reviews from current and ex-customers.
They offer a full stack of precious metals for you to purchase. Besides a wide range of gold and silver coins and bars, they also offer palladium and platinum bullion and coins.
Noble Gold also sell rare uncirculated coins. Owning rare coins is a matter of prestige among collectors because rare coins are not IRA-approved and you can’t add them to your silver IRA.
Finally, Noble Gold are renowned for their superior customer support. Even though they’re placed 5th in this list of best gold IRA companies, their customer support rivals that one of Augusta Precious Metals and I put them as number #1 best gold IRA company in this guide.
If you decide to become a customer you can count on Noble Gold to educate and support you all the way to the gold at the end of the rainbow:)

How I Researched The Best Gold IRA Companies
I reviewed 14 gold IRA companies in preparation for writing this guide.
Out of those 14, the 5 best remained. They are the best gold IRA companies for 2023 and below are the criteria I used to judge them.
BBB score- Does a company have a positive BBB score? Or is their profile mired with legitimate customer complaints? And if there are legitimate complaints, were they successfully solved and in a timely matter?
I paid attention to all of this and more when examining the IRA companies’ BBB profiles because I know A and A+ scores strongly correlate with the company’s legitimacy, trustworthiness and excellence of service.
Note: All the silver and gold IRA dealers I picked as the best ones have either an A or A+ score on Better Business Bureau. These scores indicate high excellent of service.
Ease of account setup process– Is it easy or difficult to set up a new account with a chosen IRA company? That’s crucial, especially for new investors who’re usually half-scared to invest their savings into precious metals and who don’t need another hurdle to get over.
The IRA companies that make the account setup process seamless made the cut in my guide to the best silver IRA companies for 2023.
Account setup fees. The best gold IRA companies don’t charge you for account management. When doing my research I immediately removed all IRA companies that charge annual fees for having an account opened with them.
Spread amount- the lower the gold bar spread of an IRA company the cheaper you can buy your new gold and silver. In my list of best gold IRA companies I included only those precious metal dealers who have the lowest spreads.
Buyback policy- Some silver IRA companies don’t have buyback policies. I immediately removed them from my list.
Website accessibility and responsiveness- I spent some time on the silver IRA companies’ websites clicking around and making sure every part of it was easily accessible and mobile responsive.
The reason I did this is because if a gold IRA company doesn’t take good care of their website which is their storefront, then you’re better off not investing in gold with them.
